  • Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical hydraulic systems.
  • Makes temporary and permanent repairs or adjustments to equipment such as main motor drives, generators, control panels, relays, controllers, switchboards, circuit breakers, lighting circuits, resistors, ect.
  • Dismantles, cleans, repairs, replaces, installs, aligns, levels and maintains electro/mechanical assemblies. Lubricates and inspects new and rebuilt assemblies.
  • Reads, interprets and analyzes drawings, blue prints and electrical schematics of equipment to be repaired.
  • Operates several crane types.
  • Performs work in all types of weather, at extreme heights.


  • Union position
  • Able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC card).
  • Ability to work mandatory overtime (including nights and weekends).
  • Self motivated; capable of working independently.
  • Ability to lift weights of 50 lbs.
  • Basic knowledge of PLCs to troubleshoot processes along with complete knowledge of single phase, three phase, relay logic and DC circuits.
  • Observes all safety procedures.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot electrical/mechanical hydraulic systems.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
  • Able to perform functions test on equipment.
  • Must have your own tools. Specialty tools will be provided.
